Yesterday I received a surprise present in the mail from Mom - a few little knick knacks that keep your hands busy when you are sitting in long meetings. I love them, and they’ll definitely be helpful today.
I’ve decided not to take the bar in February. Hillary, my therapist, strongly recommended against it. It’s hard for me not to.
Tomorrow I meet with her again and also with my counselor, Katy, to go over an assignment she had me work on to do my first step - questions about childhood, feelings, etc.

December 26 - I couldn’t think of a better title
Yesterday was a pretty slow day, being that it was Christmas.
Today was a back to normal day, and so we had a long morning group, I met with my therapist, and then had an afternoon group and an AA meeting. I’m learning a lot here about myself and otherwise, though it’s not always easy. I’ll write more about that in later posts.
